Access to sky VIP

I'm trying to access VIP via the app. The app has asked me to complete set up however this has been done.

@Jeffers777 normal reason you see thst message is you are signing in using a Sky id not linked to the account.

So when you access the VIP section what is happening ?

The error message reads.

 

we're really sorry but you can't join sky VIP right now.

 

it could be because 

 

you're new to sky

sky vip isn't available with your package

your a now tv customer

you're in 31day cancellation period

I have been a customer for over a year. I have a q mini box and broadband. 


within the app it asks me to complete account set up which I have multiple times. The app informs me that I have set up the account but then reverts to account set up still needs to be activated.

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.


This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:

When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can or it will be closed if there is no response within 48 hours. To start the conversation just type in it.
This isn't a live chat so replies may not be instant.

All sorted, thank you everyone, 

 

I needed to log out from my iPad app, log in via a different device, then log back in via the iPad. All works perfecly.
