Access denied, you do not have permission to access on this server

Hi, can anyone help me with this, please, I'm sure it must be a simple solution. Firstly, I am having trouble accessing my sky account page at times, It seems that someone must be changing my passsword because on a few occasions my password is just not letting me in, and I have had to use 'forgotten password' to access my account page, I know I didn't enter an incorrect password and I tried it many times, unless this issue is also connected to the denied access,? I don't know?

That is the first thing. Then, I tried to access 'reset password' from the page and it is saying access denied. Then when I try to access yahoo mail it says access denied. I tried to follow a link on an answered question on here and access denied again.  I am using chromebook when I am getting access denied. I do reboot my router often, so that isn't solving it.

Is there any way to see a history of changed passwords on my sky account as in the date changed and what it was changed to?

Also is there a section on this site where I can see what devices are connected to my wifi? I know that I can see this on the router admin page, but I just wanted to know if I can find the same information in my sky account?

My apologies for so many questions, I would appreciate an answer to any of them, I am just an old biddy who is tech-savvy in no way whatsoever  🙂    Thank you for reading

Edit;  After posting this message I then logged off and back in again ( just to check the password was still working ) the page took longer to load and flashed a bit then when I clicked on reset password it worked. no problem ?? What is going on? does anyone know?  It was saying access denied all the time and then suddenly, the very minute when I post about it the issue is fixed? Very strange.

Sorry, no.

No, you can only find this via your router, as you posted.

It's very hard for us customers here to guess what's happening with your login. I suspect the 'access denied' problem is more to do with your login/password reset issues than the other way round. Now that you've logged in successfully, I'd suggest making sure you're using a strong password, i.e  at least 8 characters, a mix of uppercase and lowercase, numbers and special characters. Don't use a word you might find in a dictionary.

Re: Access denied, you do not have permission to access on this server

Thank you @Mark39, I appreciate you taking the time to answer. I'm sure there used to be a section which shown what devices were connected, not just mac or ip address, actually naming the listed devices ! I don't know what I'm thinking of but I'm sure it will come back to me at some point. Have a good day 🙂
