@Manco68 Sky hardly, ever sell bundled packages. Even though you bought broadband and TV at the same time, they were sold as individual products with separate contracts. That being so, each is subject to its own individual price increase, i.e. 2x£3.

Re: 2026 Price Rise

It quite normal that the price increases usually in April even you have been given a cheap looking  price now and say 2 year minimum term. Though the agent dose not mention this if you look at your confirmation email,  buried in there somewhere it usually says the price may rise in your  term. The same could have happened to  me as I cancelled Sky cinema last  month and with in hours of phoning Sky I got email from them offering me to keep it at £7 a month on a two year deal (I was paying £13on rolling monthly contrat )however it would not have stayed at that price for long as come April it would have been increased to£8 and next year would be increased again, however I canceled because I  hardly ever watched any movies on there so I was not interested any.deal and definitely did not want to be locked into any more 2 year deals

Re: 2026 Price Rise

Actually just looked at the email confirming.  last package deal and you are right there is no mention of price increase however they get rounded it because they actually increase the full list  price in April every year which they can do but the amount of discount they have given you remains the same.. and if you look the wording in your bills, it gives the full list price crossed out and underneath it says " In- contract discount"  with amount that was  originally agreed. And also when that discount will end. So if Sky full price is increased  as it dose every year  you total price will increase by the same amount and it's that discount amount is all that Sky committed to keep the same in your minimum term. If you are not happy and you are still in cooling off period you could always cancel the deal.

Actually looking on the Sky web site for new customers they do show bundled offers of combined broadband tv packages as this picture shows,

Re: 2026 Price Rise

On those bundled offers it clearly states the price rise is £3 per month.   It says nothing about &3 per month per product.  Add to the fact that I was sold my package and told there would be no increase.   I feel really aanoyed if I'm honest.

You're within your cooling off period.  Use it.

Price increase sky stream

Just found out that my TV subscription is rising by £6 a month in April, because sky do not publish in advance customer yearly price rises are we allowed to leave penalty free if in contract. To be honest with the current sky sports UHD issues at the moment, the price rise with an unstable service is the last straw for me. Any guidance, would be appreciated. Thanks

Re: 2026 Price Rise

I signed up to Full Fibre 500 last month with WIFI Max. Due to the way they calculate the monthly bills with over charging and crediting the next month I will never actually pay the price I signed up for at all. I did know it would increase though as I've never heard of Sky giving fixed rate deals with guarentee of no increases during a contract.

Hi @Anonymous

Sky's small print tells you that there will be a price increase. This is not justification for leaving the contract.

..but the service quality and picture issues definitely are grounds for leaving early. Exercise your rights and put it all in writing or save chat transcripts whenever your live chatting.

Re: Price increase sky stream

Thing is I only my price increase in December just gone, for whatever reason my prices didnt go up last April, they pushed back the price increase until December, before anyone else says this has nothing to do with any in contract discount finishing. I can actually see the price of sky sports etc going up with the discount remaining the same. So my prices went up in December by 6.50 and now they want to give me another price increase within 4 months of £6.00. surely they cant rise the base package prices twice in 12 month period. Once I accept

@Anonymous  Afaik prices can only increase once in any 12 month period, this should be detailed in the terms and conditions so I would check them out has you may have grounds for a complaint should you wish to pursue it

Re: 2026 Price Rise

I signed up for the sky ultimate tv and 150 broadband package las april and deal clearly stated "prices fixed until april 2027", the other day i noticed my tv and broadband both going up by £3, i called sky today "luckily i screenshoted the deal last year" and was shouted at down the phone by some loverly indian lady. then got put though to disconections and in the uk and the guy asked for the screen shot and agreed that the page states price fixed until april 2027 on the deal via "top cashback". he then spoke to his manager and said no prices. rise every april and basically called me a liar, put me though to someone else to raise a complaint. that person opened a complaint and as soon as he put the phone down to me closed the complaint. so i had to call again and spoke to someone a lot more helpful who explained that sky's complaints process is that the person who the compaint it raised with is also the person who has to follow up the compaint as sky dont really have a dedicated compaints team.

I spoke to the last guy ho explained all this and he has re opened my complaint looked at my evidence and has booked to call me back next tuesday with a out come.  but he also informed me that if the rise is mor than 10% you can notify sky in march that you intend to leave in april with no penalty so my tv is £20 and internet £17 or the other way round, anyway £3 on each is more than 10% so worse case senario is i leave in april. but hopfully they will honor the deal they advertised. The wording of the deal advertised by sky is "sky stream, ultimate tv netflix & full fibre 150,  £37 a month, £0 upfront fee for 24 months. prices locked until april 2027"

Re: 2026 Price Rise

Yeah it's wrong, even the sky website states £3 rise on the tv/broadband bundle, but the rise is actually £6. I was also promised a fixed price, but it appears there is no such thing. Wrong on all levels.
