My main sky Q box recordings says ' service not available' and mini box says ' no satellite signal'.
I have rebooted and reset both, checks show WiFi to hub is fine but I have very limited service

Looks like you hard hard drive failure.

Ordering a new Q box usually means a doorstep swap.
Don’t forget to keep your viewing card from the failed box if you order a replacement.

@oldfella @Hi many thanks for your advice, I'll try first thing tomorrow morning but I feel you are right my hard disk is dying a death.
