We cancelled our sky glass package some time ago as we couldnt get on with it, so webt back to the sky Q package. However, we are still in a contract to pay off our sky glass tv, which we were told by sky that we can watch sky Q with the sky glass tv. Whats happening is however, we always get 2 menus come up now, sky glass and sky Q. It confuses things having both things and is getting frustrating trying to watch normal sky Q without getting sky glass options still come up.
please does anyone know if the sky glass function of the tv can be disabled??

Unfortunately because the Glass set is still a 'smart' (kind of) television even without a Sky subscription for it, displaying the Entertainment OS GUI is a requirement for the user to have any control over basic functionality such as picture settings and HDMI input selection.
Sky should ship you a different remote, which helps a bit, but using a Glass TV with a Q box is always going to be a bit of a cludge because it was never intended to happen.

I cancelled Sky glass within 24 hours of it arriving as I found it to be horrendous and sent the whole package back reverting to SKYQ. At the same though I had handed my old tv to a friend so had to purchase a new tv. The 55 inch SKY Glass the wife had chosen was white, the new TV stand i had purchased was white somthe new TV had to be white
