I upgraded to Superfast Broadband recently and the picture shows I should have a new hub.
none was sent by Sky and I'm currently running at 39Mbps on a Sky Q router.
Has it just been tweaked remotely or do I need to upgrade the hardware too?
if so how?
Thanks in advance

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThe only query I'd have is the speed: exactly 39999Kbs would either indicate a 40/10 service ('Superfast 35') or an 80/20 'Superfast' service being speed-capped by Openreach DLM.

The Q Hub is still standard hardware for FTTC. A Sky Broadband Hub is despatched for Broadband Boost subscribers or where Sky Talk is being provisioned using VOIP.
39Mbs isn't possible over ADSL, so that would indicate the connection is FTTC.

Many thanks for the reply. Looks like I'm getting what I ordered and don't need the hardware to receive it then. Thanks 👍
