Xbox series x

Hello, when we put our Xbox on to watch something it will go to a black screen and cut out every 5 minutes we've tried turning it off at the plug and factory resetting the tv. Does anyone else have this problem? Playing games is fine it's literally just watching stuff

@Danielle1211 Have you checked your Sky Go app is up to date?

Try changing your DNS on the Xbox, I use Cloudflare (1.1.1.1  and 1.0.0.1)

 

Setting your xbox to the DMZ in your routers firewall might help

 

Also check DSCP Tagging and WMM Tagging (If using Wi-Fi) are on 🙂

@GD1 just downloaded the app on my phone everything is up to date still not working

@Annie+UK i don't have sky go on my Xbox, what I mean is even if I'm on Netflix, YouTube, now tv, any games I try and play or even just sitting on Xbox Home Screen, every 30 seconds I get a 5 second black screen but it works fine on every other tv

If you don't have Sky Go on your xbox then why post in the Sky Go forum with the subject title of "Xbox series x" 🙄

 

Go to a Xbox forum or one for your TV, this does not even sound like a Sky issue 😞
