Seems most of the cinema channels are showing different films from what's listed.

Re: What's going on with Cinema channels today?
It's deliberate as I caught the start of one film where the continuity announcement was along the lines of "the following film has been changed from the advertised..."

Re: What's going on with Cinema channels today?
I'm on Sky Q. As I said above, this is clearly a deliberate action by Sky rather than some kind of error as the continuity announcement said the film had been changed.

Re: What's going on with Cinema channels today?
Due to a possible issue with PIN protection caused by the Viewing Card issue that many viewers have reported, the daytime showings of PIN-protected 12/15/18 rated movies have been temporarily suspended.

Re: What's going on with Cinema channels today?
I am on sky Q, and almost every sky movie channel, sky atlantic, sky max and many other channels are no longer showing whats advertised, showing teh same program back to back or just plain out just showing teh same 3 or 4 adverts.
I dont know whats going on with sky right now but they sure as hell have dropped a massive clanger here.
Not to mention channels that are showing teh right program are droppign to a blue screen askign you to check your viewing card (done that same problem so came here to see what was happening and if it was just me). Apparently it isnt.
So whats actually going on with sky??

Re: What's going on with Cinema channels today?
If the channel is due to be showing a PIN protected programme or film then something else will be showing instead until the viewing card issue is resolved.

Re: What's going on with Cinema channels today?
As @xenon81 indicates, if there's a problem with the operation of the Mandatory Daytime Protection PIN then no channel is going to risk the really serious financial penalties inevitably inflicted by Ofcom for transmitting post-watershed content before 21:00 without it (not to mention the potential real world effect of having, say, Sky Atlantic carrying its usual mayhem and carnage at school hometime without any access control)

Yes, because that's the kind of content which is only legal to broadcast before 20:30 on a subscription fim channel if Mandatory Daytime Protection is applied.
