Thanks for spoiling the F1 season finale
Honestly... Sky could not have done a better job of spoiling the excitement of a great season, to decide which constructor would win the 2024 F1 championship.
Firstly, there is the usual Sky stream poor service, trying to find the right programme to watch without spoiling it looking through the other programmes/segments of the F1 weekend.
Wanting to watch the build-up to the race whochbI usually enjoy, but on this occasion, I wanted to watch it particularly due to the Lewis Hamliron tributes with it being his last race for Mercedes. But of course, it's almost impossible to find that show. Not being available from the live feed, I eventually found the reply that was available to rewatch. However..... that programme started with the podium ceremony of Lando norris, Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc, stood cheering on the podium.
Thanks for that.
Following that, I find the original live recording of the race show, but face the regular problem with that skipping by 30 seconds, every minute or so.
Back to the programmes menu I go to find a reply of the race to hope that plays normally. Another 4/5 minutes wasted to find it in the completely random menu, but erm, althoughbits under the 'what's coming' it was recorded 3 hours prior (and finished recording) there is no option the play it...
Going out and back it to find it a few times, it eventually allows me to play it. And thankfully without the skipping.
It's not 02:10 as I type this and the podium has just finished. What was going to be a late night watching the season finale, is an even later night due to the stupidity and not fit for purpose Sky Stream service I'm forced to use as a sky glass customer.
I was previously with asky for 15 or so years before moving to Virgin for 2 years. I've returned to sky to find their 'latest and greatest' service is way, way behind the competition. I should have upgraded to a regular TV, and used Now TV for sky sports F1 which other than some newa is the only 'live TV' that I watch.
Thanks...

Formula One - a mess
This year's Formula One coverage has been a shambles. The presenters, and coverage generally are excellent but the programming is a mess. How can the Race "Highlights" programme be LONGER THAN THE RACE?!?!?!
And who can ever find a proper highlights programme?
And it could be so simple...
There should be two programmes for each race. - The Race live, and the Highlights programme.
The Race Live does what it says. And if people miss it, by all means make it available for viewing the next day.
The Highlight programme should be HIGHLIGHTS. It should be about 45 minutes long, or maybe an hour, and should be broadcast sometime between 7pm and 11pm on the day of the race (depending on the race time/ location etc).
The Highlights programme shouldn't be shorter than 45 minutes (was the Abu Dhabi highlights programme only twenty one minutes long?!?!?) , and definitley not longer than the race, cos that is just silly!!!
Please go back to a simple programme schedule, and programme naming that people can find, record and NOT MISS!
Paul

Re: Formula One - a mess
@Paul0001 as this is a community forum of other Sky customers, its extremely unlikely the appropriate people at Sky will see your feedback.
I'd suggest emailing it to the Viewer Relations Team via viewerR@sky.uk who will then pass it on to the relevant team.
