TNT Sports package changes?
TNT Sports now has a Sports Only package that simply provides access to just the TNT Sports content [including the same on Discovery+]. Will Sky be offering the same package to customers who have TNT Sports through Sky, or will our prices for the TNT add-on be going up as we've now been punted onto the top-tier that notionally costs £33.99/month instead of £30.99/month?

You'll be on the same level with a new name - and Sky will continue to cover the cost of the package.

Re: TNT Sports package changes?
@ozsat Okay, thanks for confirming. Hopefully the price will not go up any time soon and I also hope for Sky offering just the TNT Sports Only package as well to diversify their add-ons.

Re: TNT Sports package changes?
Shame that Sky don't do the offers like VM do.
VM full price for TNT Sports is £25pm - but new TNT customers can get three months at £5pm.
VM give you Ultimate too by default - Sky you have to also pay for the UHD level.

Re: TNT Sports package changes?
No - depends if your just want the sport.
There is a lot of non-sport content.
I just come to the end of a £18pm offer on Sky for TNT Sports - so always worth looking out.

Re: TNT Sports package changes?
Bumping this thread to let people know that the TNT Sports package is going up to £34/month, the same price as the top-tier package offered on Discovery+. Needless to say, £34/month for a pretty average sports service (which I bought only because they -- being WBD -- closed down Eurosport UK, probably the worst decision ever made) is not worth it, so I'll be contacting Sky to get that cancelled. Everyone else who has TNT Sports through Sky should also consider if they are getting value for money from such an expensive subscription and cancel as well.

This only applies to getting TNT Sports directly through Discovery+. It doesn’t apply to Discovery+ subscriptions obtained via Sky. As Sky already offers a TNT Sports add-on (or Sports Extra in Ireland), it’s unlikely Sky will change the sports packages. Any change to your subscription price would require formal notification from Sky. It won’t increase without notice.

Re: TNT Sports package changes?
You may want to wait for the end of next month when looking at prices. HBO Max will launch and that will include TNT Sports. Quite how this will work and how it will be priced, we will have to wait and see.

@Marlu-Nyu It's worth noting customers you pay Sky directly for tnt sports are reporting a £3pm increase from April in future billing in the 2026 prices increase thread
Sky sports has increased by £2 from April also
affected customers will receive official notification in the next few weeks
