Does anyone know why the 3pm EFL games are not on Sky Sports+ tomorrow (Sunday December 29).
It's not a Saturday so the 3pm blackout doesn't apply.
The EFL-Sky deal is meant to mean all non-3pm EFL games should be available on Sky Sports+ - it seems madness with such a big deal that Sky struck that so many games will only be available to overseas viewers.
It's very odd.

Came here to ask this very question. It's odd that these games are not on, yet they televised everything Saturday 3pm when it's the International break.

Yes, I've seen that breakdown of game numbers thanks.
What I am interested in is why seemingly these games are not included in the EFL-Sky contract, it is a bit baffling when every other match round outside the Saturday 3pm window has been accommodated.

@simondarby06 that's a question for the efl to answer as it would seem they didn't make them available to purchase in the tender document

Very strange the EFL games are unaviable this Sunday with 3pm kick offs. You can only watch my team Plymouth Argyle if you are an international subscriber. You cant pay £10 to watch the game in the UK. Im sure in the past you were able to do this on a Sunday. I can't find anything saying the Saturday rule applies on a Sunday. Well maybe its a blessing I can't watch, but it would be good to find out why?

No PL games on New Year's Day Vs full PL fixture list today.
Wonder if it's the PL calling the shots?

Pretty sure the Tv deal said that when 3pm PL are scheduled no 3pm EFL games can be broadcast, hence why no games today but the full set on New Years Day when the only PL game is an evening kick off.

Even if technically it's not supposed to be every single non-3pm blackout fixture available, it's still very frustrating. Last season we would have been able to pay £10 to watch on iFollow today. Now we can't watch it at all. We were going to go to a game today but chose not to thinking it would be on Sky Sports+.
Sky if you are reading this - please make EVERY non-3pm blackout fixture available. There's no obvious reason and we're still in that Christmas period where loads of people are off today (even more than an normal Sunday) unable to watch games.

Sky can't just make every non-blackout game available. They can only show what the various TV contracts allow them to and today's 3pm games are clearly not covered.
I'm not entirely sure they would have been available on iFollow either for the same reasons.

EFL games regularly are screened at the same time as Premier League TV games so it's not that.
Sky Sports+ has effectively replaced iFollow domestic streaming so it is absolutely baffling.
It would be nice to get an explanation from Sky and the EFL.
It could be a contractual **bleep**-up, but I highly doubt it given how in-depth and complex TV rights deals are.
From next season all non Sat 3pm Premier League games will all be televised so there will be an incredible choice next Christmas holiday period.

Except on Saturdays which is typically the only day when the PL have 3pm kick offs. (I know occasionally Sunday games have 3pm kick offs but these are usually down to re-arranged PL games so typically are excluded from the TV rights exclusions).
