Spot the mistake
Can anyone else see what's wrong with this - see screenshot below. I do wish people would check their work before submitting it.

Thats Robert Carlyle probably from a later version but definatley not 1953
Sky Stream , Sky Superfast, SR203 router, Tp link td w9970 + Asus RT AX58U (backup), Xbox Series X, google home mini, LG 55 inch uhd tv, with Dolbyvision, samsung a5 2017 and samsung s21

I think he was in another HG Wells movie adaptation of The Time Machine

Yes, that indeed is Robert Carlyle, who was born in 1961 & appeared in the 2019 TV version of WOTW, so how he could be in the 1953 film version of WOTW, I do not know. I don't even know why 1953 was added to the synopsis, it would have been correct without it. Having said that, it is still a bit of a rubbish write-up, " .... toasting the planet with heat rays. "? Really? I guess it was the regular writer's day off, and an intern was allowed to have a go.

Strictly speaking they toasted Woking, Shepperton and Weybridge, so quite a small part of the planet ; )
In 1953 it was an already crispy southern California, presumably for budgetary reasons.
