Re: Some New Year changes, please?

I see the Home Page has been changed, so that's one down, one to go.

Re: Some New Year changes, please?

Seeing as I asked for the change, I thought I'd look at the new option on the Home Page & see what's coming to Sky TV this year. Turns out it's all on right now, so what's coming from February to December is anybody's guess.

And not something Sky are likely to announce in the middle of January.

@Daniel0210  You are joking, right? The thread is called " What to watch on Sky in 2025 ", not " ..... January 2025 ". I was expecting to see more than what has been listed.

Some of the possible additions are likely to be still in post production or the rights to show them are still being negotiated.

New  acquisitions have habit turning up out of nowhere 2-3 weeks in advance nowadays.

  •   If that is the case then it begs the question, why is the thread about TV shows and series for 2025 if it's going to be confined to January only,  which btw, we are already two weeks into? It's like giving a football fan the fixtures for their favourite team on a month by month basis. Either change the title of the thread or add more content.

I agree,  it's pointless , it's all very secretive regarding new acquisitions which they are increasingly going to need more outside of WBD

For example Season 3 of Hacks (Universal TV) turned in Sky advance listings on Sky Showcase and Sky Max on 31st January at 9pm/9:40pm  it's disappeared for now , why not just announce it even if the date isn't fixed

The tv series on the list might be January, but I only think 1 or 2 of the films is January

Given the 8-10 months for big releases from cinema to sky, this means a better idea of future releases.

My comments only relate to the TV shows and series.

Here's something they can write about. A couple of days ago I saw in a Google newsfeed that Sky has something new to announce in a couple of weeks, possibly to do with Sky Q. That's something they could do a teaser for on the Home Page.

Is this possibly what was being referred to in the Google newsfeed? I know it's not Sky Q after all, but I do recall the news item said something about being brighter. Anyway, at least it has made the Home Page.
