Hi,

Does anyone know if Sky maintains an archive of programme schedules?
So I am wanting to trace a particular documentary from May 2001, but cannot remember which channel it was on except that it was a Sky TV channel.

It was a documentary program on either a Discovery channel or history channel about post-world war II in Italy and featured a troop inspection in Trieste

Thank you very much for suggesting this. However, my memory is of a factual documentary  rather than a dramatisation; but I will certainly give it a watch

It's hard to find. 

One thing I would consider is that for many newspapers, they do archives including tv listings.

I had a brief look at Irish Times and they list Discovery channel and Nat Geo in May 2001, but not History Channel on their daily pages.

Your local library might be able to help with access as library usually for the public do have resources for old newspaper archives.

I hope you find something special.

If it's the clip used in the documentary then Pathe may be able to tell you who they have licenced it to.
