Call 0344 2 four one four one four one and tell them all about it! ( won't let me post their help no.! Haha )
Also mail the viewer relations dept mentioned above!! viewerr@sky.uk
Had ANOTHER 45 minute call with Sky help today, got escalated to a manager ( who said it's a new product and not all are trained! ) who didn't accept the product should have been tested before launched / first line help staff be trained before launch!!
BUT they are aware of this / these issues - quality, freezes, technical errors, inability to watch all the advertised games in any sport due to the limitations of one at a time / no recording / no catch up.
Allegedly, they are working on it and will have an update ( over the air? ) to the app / boxes within 5-10 working days .... I won't hold my breath...
If any one looks at Rugby League fan pages, football pages etc. and any other sport that is on so far on sports + there is 99% negative feedback, and 50% customer likely to cancel sky sports or all sky!
Own goal, Sky!! ( if it's on the channel I am allowed to watch! )

Just want to add that I've used the service today twice, the Swansea game and then the Wrexham match, picture was fine in both but audio not so good
Getting slight random crackles or like miniature pops occasionally , the stream puck is connected to true fibre to the home with speeds of over 1gig so it's certainly not my internet
I also noted that when using the Dolby audio the puck would make weird noises and high pitched , turning audio to pcm immediately stops the noise but I'm paying £1 a month extra for UHD and Dolby digital, I expect Dolby digital to work without the puck making these noises

That is a good deal getting UHD and Dolby for £1 a month, it's normally £6 a month.
I moved between a few of the Sky Sports+ streams earlier today and the sound did vary across them.
I did occasionally hear the odd sharp pop when listening via a Dolby attached device.
Changing to pcm may have muted it to some extent and not so noticeable if at all.
Assume that is the only place you have heard that and not when using other apps and Tv channels on your Sky Stream puck?

The positive side is Sky sports plus is awesome. It just needs improving in picture and sound quality, but as we all know, it will take time to get it up the high standards required. Am sure it will get there
Just been watching the golf on the various different options, and the quality was excellent, compared to the football
As I am neurodivergent I can spot even the smallest issues but it's a new item and will take time to get to the quality that I am sure Sky will be aiming for

So essentially, what you are saying Mark is that Sky are not expecting as many people to be able to watch Rugby League now it's partially (for the time being) streamed.
I agree - because it's NOT POSSIBLE. When two macthes were on at the same time you could watch one and record the other, or record both (assuming two channel recording option). When three matches were on at the same time, you could record two and then go ahead in the planner to record or watch the third match when it was repeated. Now, you cam watch ONE match LIVE - and that's it. So if you happen to be out when three matches are on simultaneuosly, you get to see - NONE.
Yes - not as many people will be watching Rugby League as before - it is not possible!

The Dolby digital issues are platform wide, the box makes a high pitched whirring noise which is incredibly annoying
I'm going to contact sky and tell them I dont get what I'm paying for and therefore to not charge me anything for it
The box may need replacing but I have my suspicions it's a bug and not a defective unit
Many years ago I had a similar issue with a sky q box, sky tried for months and months to fix but after a 100+ page thread of people complaining I got a considerable refund and option to cancel penalty free which I did

Problem still there and today will miss both matches as not in front of TV when shown and can't record them!

So last week I could record and watch all 6 games. This week I've seen 2!
Can't record games on Sky Sports + and can't stream them on my Desktop Windows PC.
And this is costimg me more because I had to upgrade from just Action/Arena to the full package.

Seems odd why we can't download the Sky sports app on Mac. What difference does it make that we can on iPhone and not Mac? Let's hope we can at some stage

Mistake guys. Downgrade to no Sky Sports at all and instead go for SuperLeague+. Full package includes ALL Super Leagie matches - many live - and ability to watch all matches sfter the event without having to remember to record them. Full package £129:99 a year.
That's what I will be doing just as soon as I can downgrade my Sky package to essentials only.

You need to provide an explanation to everyone who watches Rugby League - or should I say, used to watch.

Yes, but the chat person can only help with technical issues, doesn't know why I was sent there based on issues with number of games I can watch etc. Assumes it is 'cos the sports+ has tech issues ( admitted ) and breaks up, freezes, goes black screen with TECH ERROR and some codes ... but can't help on how to record, watch missed games ( highlights are about 4 minutes from an 80 minute + game! ) or if they will ever be a catch up or record function on sports +.
I'm just waiting for full ENglish football to start and see how many problems Sky get complaints about when there are "100 streams" are on, since traditionally saturday 3:00 pm is kick off time!!!

@Vully just to clarify in case of any potential confusion the Saturday 3pm fixtures moving forward are NOT being streamed live as the blackout rule still applies (the opening weekend fixtures were an exception to the rule)
