Hi Everyone

We've been working with Netflix and our support teams and put together a handy, updated guide to fix these problems.

This article will help you with problems like:

  • The language has changed
  • There are unfamiliar profiles
  • I can't sign in
  • My package has been changed without consent

Thanks

Are you able to get into your account via the Netflix website?

If so, you should be able to reset your password.
You can also send yourself a password reset via email or SMS text message at: https://www.netflix.com/LoginHelp

When logged in, go to https://help.netflix.com/en/node/128180 and then select "Log out of all devices" and follow the instructions. This will log out the hacker too.

Then go back to the Netflix app on Sky and login with the new password.

I would also advise you to have at look at Netflix's "How to keep your account secure" section: https://help.netflix.com/en/node/13243#

Additionally, if you don't want to do this, or are not able to access your access, block the payment.

If you pay Netflix with a credit/debit card, cancel the card and get a replacement. If it's with a bank transfer/standing order, contact your bank to cancel it. Or if it's with Sky, cancel Netflix on Sky.

When it is cancelled, do the opposite:
If you originally paid via credit/debit card or your bank, get it via Sky.
If you originally paid via Sky, get it via credit/debit card.

Either way, you will still be able to login to Netflix on Sky. You do not need to get a subscription via Sky to watch Netflix on the Sky apps.
