I think I'd have to be paid to watch it again.

It's outrageous. I'd hold for a bit. It has to come down.

Guys, I wonder if somebody is able to confirm that this blue tinge/hue on programmes like The Midwich Cuckoos does not exist on an LG C2 OLED. I have given up with my Samsung QLED, films let alone series in HDR on Sky become unwatchable and for the life of me I cannot continue fiddling with the settings every time we find something we want to watch so if the OLED works as well as it seems it does, I am getting a Black Friday deal and saying bye bye to Samsung.
Thanks in advance.

Posted by a Sky employeeHi Everyone
Just to make you aware, we continue to work with Samsung on the blacks/purple issue. The problem isn't unique to our content. A solution is coming, however I can't give timescales.

Good to know, thanks.

Game of thrones would feel like a completely different show if it were ad free in UHD.
also the extra episode per binge because of the fast forward then rewind faff that Sky like you to do on the Volvo channel would be satisfying to avoid!!!!

Not being smart, but maybe ask the BBC how they manage to broadcast a 'purple-free' HLG picture?

Vincent did show a BBC scene that did it, albeit less badly.

Just posting to add my frustration at this issue too.
I have a Q90T, and after watching the blue mess that is the first minute of HOTD couldn't bring myself to continue.
hopefully it will be sorted soon

I've started filming my youtube vids in 4K HLG (Sony A6400) and deeps blacks are indeed displayed blue on my 2022 Samsung QN90B TV. More so in calibrated movie mode than Standard or dynamic.

Same issue, blue shadow, with my Samsung S95B and HotD in HDR.
Hope to be resolved soon.

The Blue issue is present in other video contents HDR (ex. MiB) and I can avoid it only setting 4k 8bit.
