Hbo max activation

When I click on activate HBO Max from Sky Account, it redirects to HBO Max site which a while later states something has gone wrong, try again later.  It continues to fail.  It offers a contact to click on if it persists but this achieves nothing except tellign one to to contact provider.

Sky contact details puts one into a doom loop of chatbots on phone which don't even offer the opportiunity to explain the actual problem.

Any ideas?  Is it best just to close the account and start again, presumably wasting Sky's time as well as my own?

Exactly same issue .. agents hands tied as they give standard "just need to wait" as the need to do something in the backend. I am on day 10 of "it shouldn't take more than 48 hours." Super frustrating!!

I've rang sky 4 times now and finally got a having problem activating some accounts 

unfortunately mine is one of them

ive tried every way possible and nearly 2 weeks later still can't activate even thought I have discovery +
tht sports subscribed through sky

It's so frustrating please update everyone sky as to what's going on

I'm in the Channel Islands. HBOmax according to their website is geo blocked here. This means I have effectively lost online access to my TNT subscription. It worked fine on Discovery+ in Guernsey but now - pffffft gone. Annoying is an understatement.
