That is understandable that WBD & Comcast fierce rivals but I'm sure a high price offer was on the table just like all other providers all over the world that they just swallowed for there customers, Sky should have been able to swallow for its customers for what is the biggest sporting event on the planet. Why even have discovery + as an app within the sky ecosystem if they dislike each other so much. I did get to enjoy the opening & closing ceremony in UHD but nothing In between which is actually quite comical when you think about it 🤣. Im cancelling my UHD and will now be moving broadband providers for cheaper as a final panache to sky as I'm nearly out of contract, it's not an just an empty threat on a forum, I know Sky are way too big to care and the executives are too busy counting their bonuses, that's the problem, If I was able to watch the Olympics in UHD, I wouldn't have even considered moving or changing anything. Im a very disappointed customer.

One benefit to having D+ available on Sky is it allows WBD to have a higher number of customers, being a public company (whose share price is in the toilet) being able to push high customer numbers is exactly what they need to try and appease shareholders. Sky would see it as a benefit as it's another bonus to offer to customers to package it with a Sky sub.

Both the Opening and Closing Ceremonies were in UHD on BBC iPlayer.
Nothing else was though.
