Essentials TV what can you do?

Can you pause and rewind live TV with the essentials TV package? Cheers in advance.

Are you referring to Essentials on Sky Q or Sky Essential TV on Sky Stream (Sky Atlantic, remaining Discovery Pay channels, Sky Sports Mix, Sky Sports News and Sky Sports Racing alongside the free to air channels)

Thanks for your reply. I will be a new customer so it will be Sky Stream I believe? I will be going with the cheapest TV option. And that's why I'm unsure if you can pause and rewind live TV.

New customers can sign up for either Sky Q (satellite TV) or Sky Stream (Internet/Streaming TV).

The 'Essentials' offering differs between the two.

You can pause and rewind live TV but Sky Stream only records to the cloud when isn't available On Demand or via a Streaming app e.g BBC iPlayer, ITVX/STV Player , Ch4 and Ch5, you add series and films to a 'playlist'

Essential TV on Sky Stream has the same functionality as the more expensive Ultimate TV bundle, just with fewer channels.

Very much designed with upcoming HBO Max launch in mind, although Sky Comedy and Sky Documentaries aren't in Essential TV which are effected.
