Disney Channel UK returns!?

I heard that Disney Channel UK and Disney Junior UK were launched between 3rd and 6th October 2025, but it hasn't shown yet and hasn't launched this month, maybe, both Channels will launch next month or so.

Disney Junior will launch and the tests are now underway, but the Disney Channel claims seem to be completely false and there are no tests for that.

Firstly it's got nothing to do with Sky whether a Disney branded channel is launched.

Also why do you think Disney have to launch 2 channels? A main Disney channel would make zero sense as the age demographic that would be targeted at just don't watch TV. Most of that demographic consume content via the likes of YouTube through mobile phones and tablets rather than on traditional TVs.

Just have to wait see what happens nothing is confirmed yet on the channels launching yet its all hearsay

Out of interest - why are people interested/excited about Disney relaunching a kids linear TV channel?

Personally, I don't really understand the interest in it, seeing how all their content is available on Disney+ for those who wish to view it.

True - but for those only wanting Disney content it's still far cheaper via Disney+ then having to subscribe to a Sky or VM TV package ( and likely require an additional fee for a kids pack).

The Pay Kids channels (e.g Sky Kids, Cartoon Network, Cartoonito , Boomerang, Nickelodeon & Nick Jr) are seperate package on Sky (£8) or Virgin (£5 excluding Baby TV which is £3.50)

Or you have an older Contract. In that was the Kids Channels Include. Like it was with my old.

Nothing is confirmed yet plus that website can be edited by anyone so and both disney channel and disney junior are returning soon not just one and maybe more disney related channel will also be coming soon aswell
