Discovery plus & TLC
Sucker....no way!!!
Innocently thoroughly enjoying Mike and Molly on TLC. Series 1 ends. All of a sudden series 2 is on Discovery plus. Go through all the carry on of setting up a/c for the channel only to find ads?????
Why the channel switch...........because sky gets you hooked. Why when i pay an arm and a leg for sky am i having to sit thru ads on a sky channel????? So i went on e bay bought the box set £20!! Sod sky!!!! And the future plan to pay more for ad free. I know whats coming sky did it with paramount!!!!!! I no longer watch paramount as i refuse to pay more money and i wont be watching discovery plus as i refuse to watch ads and when sky says pay for ad free i wont be hooked on anything ....so sky can sod off......sky is just being greedy and treating subscribers like cash cows!!!!!

Re: Discovery plus & TLC
Unlike most streaming services, there is no ad-free version of Discovery+. Even those who subscribe directly rather than via the free Sky offer get adverts with no option to pay more for no ads.
Note: Discovery+/TLC are owned by Warner Bros Discovery. Sky has no control over the way Discovery run their channels/streaming service.

Not that you need to subscribe to watch TLC on Discovery+ , no account or subscription is required, browse just doesn't show app on Sky.
I wonder how long Discovery+ will still available standalone for new subscribers after 26th March, especially with Discovery Global spin off no longer moving forward.

I suspect nothing will change with regards to HBO Max and Discovery +, at this point, aside from the current plan over which content is on which platform. Then it going to be a waiting game for Paramount Skydance deal to get regulatory approval and the deal to close before we start seeing what actual plans PSky have for combining HBO Max, Discovery+ and Paramount +.

TLC is not a Sky-owned channel, Discovery+ isn't a Sky-owned service and that particular content was created for CBS by Warner Bros Television (who, perhaps unsurprisingly, are the owners of both Discovery and TLC)
Your anger is a little misplaced.
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2

Which in a lot of cases will be both
