Discovery+ (free access) doesn't show Biathlon which Eurosport.com is showing right now. Does this mean that the free access via Sky for Discovery+ is a stripped down version of Discovery+?

Discovery themselves offer two subscription levels, and perhaps not surprisingly are 'giving away' the lower cost one on Sky platforms. It's worth noting that even if the version with Sport included is purchased directly from Discovery, it can't be accessed through their app on Sky hardware.

Ah thanks for that information I didn't realise that the Discovery Plus app on Glass didn't allow you to view the full platform if you had a subscription.

That was certainly the case at launch, and I believe it still is now.

FYI Discovery won't be showing biathlon in the UK this winter, they don't have the rights. You can watch on eurovisionsports.tv instead.

But the version you get free from Sky does not have the Sports section and even if you subscribe to the full Sports version I beleive it is still blocked on Sky boxes.

Your post was correct at the time but just to bring this topic up to date, the Sky version of Discovery+ now includes sport.
