Changes to the TV Guide - March 2026

They have reversed a lot compared to when it was originally launched or even September 2021.

As they were non HBO boxsets and Sky Original Comedies branded as Sky Comedy On Demand - only 2 remain which were co productions with HBO

A New HBO Comedy (Rooster) on Sky One instead of Sky Comedy (sky.com page needs updated) raises question marks about why they even need a linear Comedy only channel which doesn't exist in Italy and was shut down in Germany.

Also Last Week Tonight with John Oliver and Saturday Night Live now premiere on Sky One and Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon was dropped.

Never really had any interest in the sky comedy channel it's just always been rubbish

I've noticed that the planned Sky Cinema channel changes that were listed as happening tomorrow have now been removed from the list. I'm assuming this means there's been a delay with the new Disney+ Cinema channel that was rumoured to be launching on 305 this week.

I think Sky should be moved out rather than 315 Movies24 while not being allocated the 316 on Movies24+ respectively, Because that sounds realistic for old TCM had to do things like shunt and companies EPG didn't do, Even Sky Animation was thought to be removed, had low cost that Sky could afford to create a new slot for the 325, 326 or 327 plus TalkingPictures stays at 328.

Good Morning Everybody has anybody got the new Disney+ Cinema TV Channel yet because on ViewersVault it still seems like the TV Guide has not changed like it has launched even though I can not find the TV Channel anywhere on my Sky Stream TV Guide.

Fairly sure that it will be announced on here and official Sky TV Guides ahead of launch, once the date is confirmed by Disney and Sky.

Delayed from what? As no launch date has ever been announced, it can't be delayed.

I also have no doubt that 800s de-escalate significantly more downside for SD channels disappearing from Sky with the extra demand without a substantial performance and not by reshuffling EPG's duplicate each other. Only happen once 101-999 unallocated slots will be filled where Sky can get new channel continue to retain blank. Kids secondary still needs some good work to be on point reduction of the 640-649 can bring back 650 shopping and follow 800 series. Reducing Adult 900-929 sub-genres that work well in 930s BBC Regional. The 340-349 HD swap ends up tied between ROI or would also add Entertainment & Documentaries that doesn’t (Overspill) the 350-399 to create room for Sports (Active) 480-489 or Music 540-579. Ent/Docs (801-840), Movies (841-842), Sports (843-867), News (868-879), International (880-898).

You seem to be assuming that linear television is expanding in popularity (and corresponding commercial viability) when all the evidence suggests the opposite is the case.

But their only tactic is EPG gaps that were never meant to be filled, which removes any channels. Maybe Sky should be placed on new genre of 101-999 range, but despite there's nothing either side they keep struggling to do it. Sky Sports Active sees the 400 series.
