Re: Changes to the TV Guide - February 2026
Sky probably don't really want it to read like a closure and more like a merger.

@Timelord2018 To me it's like disappointing because Sky should've read like a closure and not just a merger.

@Marlu-Nyu Disappointing in not mentioning about Sky One +1's comeback. I hope there shall be any plan to relaunched the +1 version of Sky One at a later date.

The thing is that (in my eyes), Sky Max is just rebranding to Sky One, and Sky Max doesn't have a +1. So, it makes sense not to have a +1.
But I also suspect that they want people to use the on-demand and catch-up services more.

2 of 3 remaining Sky +1 channels (Sky Witness and Sky Crime) originally can be traced back to pre Sky ownership - LivingTV and LivingTV2

Re: Changes to the TV Guide - February 2026
Well, Sky Showcase and Sky Max is going to have a final night tonight.
As from 2am this evening, The Dyers Caravan Park will be on overnight as Sky Max entering its final night from this evening before it will close at 10am tomorrow.
Im pretty sure that, on the other hand, the current set of Sky channels' idents be replaced with the new set of idents because otherwise i would be disappointed more if they kept the same ones into it. Fingers crossed

In reality only Sky Showcase is closed
On Virgin this is obvious, Sky Showcase on the EPG says "This Channel Is No Longer Available" at 6am, wouldn't suprise me if they remove it shortly after midnight

Re: Changes to the TV Guide - February 2026
Indeed... Sky thought maybe for some reason they were doing well as Sky One +1 have completely been mixed and confused with Sky Showcase +1 rather than retaining Channels, just like 206. But now the +1 are gone there's no appropriate length of time before it launches late 2012.

And SKY Showcase and +1 is just a Trailer Show.. like it was with the SKY Sports Active Channels back in 2024
