Climax finally reaches its climax!

There used to be a women's clothing store in the shopping centre near me called "No Name", when it closed, another store opened called "Gerald". I said something similar that "No Name" finally has its name. LOL.

@Timelord2018

Seriously though Sky are already drawn out Animation that were meant to be closed by the end of March last month, It's good Disney+Cinema seem to sorted out the 305 build quality issues away from EPG and just focus on Movies24 which is currently 312 or didn't plan to launch new channel below 315,316,325,326 and 327.

Unusually for EE, they are ahead of the game.

They have noted the below with regards to the closure of sky cinema animation and the merging of the content with sky cinema family.

"On 30 April, Sky Cinema Family and Sky Cinema Animation are merging, so all of the content on both channels will be housed on a channel called Sky Cinema Family."

Another Sky channel brand from 2020/21 closed, joining Sky Replay , Sky Showcase and Sky Max

Re: Changes to the TV Guide - April 2026

Although technically not related to the Sky forum I have noticed on the below broadband news article that the Chernobyl drama series will be shown on Sky Mix, but it states that this channel is shown as part of Now TV, which it isnt just now.

Just wondering if there was an inadvertent leak about future updates.

I know that Sky News and Sky Arts channels are represented but not Sky Mix or Challenge TV for example.

hi @RobertS83

I haven't read the article or any info on Now TV but SKY Mix is on Freeview (not just Freesat) on channel 11 where I am (NW England)

I guess it is also availble via Freely

Re: Changes to the TV Guide - April 2026

@nigea99 aware of Freeview and Freesat but it's not on Freely but Now would be interesting if they are trying to close the gaps in the Sky channels portfolio.

Re: Changes to the TV Guide - April 2026

It has been llsted on Now "Stream 16 Live channels" page since 24th February, at the time I assumed it was a mistake

Re: Changes to the TV Guide - April 2026

@Timelord2018 it would make sense if it was added.

I definitely think something is in the pipeline, maybe to replace sky showcase.

Re: Changes to the TV Guide - April 2026

Sky Showcase was a pay channel

Sky News, Sky Sports and Cinema elements of Sky Showcase continue on Sky One

Sky Original movie Flight Or Flight is on Sky One on 21st April for example

Sky have made.no mention of Now , so i suspect that article is incorrect

Re: Changes to the TV Guide - April 2026

I'm actually disappointed that Sky is closing Sky Cinema Animation on 30 April and doing nothing with the frequency. I would prefer if they launched Sky Comedy HD with Ireland ads in Ireland, so the HD would be on channel 113 and not 342. Then TLC HD could have 342 and not 828 in Ireland.

@KevNewMedia, can you suggest this to the team, if you're able to please.
