Changes to the Sky TV guide - December 2021

Keep up with the latest changes to the Sky TV Guide on Sky Q, Sky+ and Sky Glass. 

 

Wednesday 1st

 

  • Nick Jr. Paw Patrol (Sky Q and Sky + 613 – Sky Glass 206) renames back to Nick Jr. Too. 

Monday 6th

 

  • New Media TV HD launches to EPG number 598 (Sky+/Sky Q).

Friday 10th

 

  • Best of 2021 (Sky+/Sky Q 302 – Sky Glass 302) changes name to Sky Music/ Sky Music HD.
  • ​Sky Greats (Sky+/Sky Q 304/849 – Sky Glass 304) renames to LordoftheRings/ LdoftheRingsHD.

Monday 13th 

 

  • Sky Lord Of the Rings (Sky+/Sky Q 304/849 - Sky Glass 304) renames to Sky Greats/ Sky Greats HD.

Wednesday 15th

 

  • Sky Sports Arena (Sky+/Sky Q 408/866 - Sky Glass 408) renames to SkySp Darts/ SkySp DartsHD.

Friday 17th 

 

  • Sky Greats (Sky+/Sky Q 304/849 - Sky Glass 304) renames to Sky The Matrix/ SkyTheMatrixHD.

Saturday 18th

 

  • SC Music (Sky+/Sky Q and Sky Glass 302) renames to WizardingWorld/WizardingWldHD.

Monday 20th

 

  • ​Sky Cinema The Matrix (Sky+/Sky Q 304/849 – Sky Glass 304) renames back to Sky Greats/ Sky Greats HD

Monday 27th 

 

  • NOW XMAS (Sky+/Sky Q 362) changes name back to NOW 80s.
  • NOW 80s (Sky+/Sky Q 363) renames back to NOW 90s.
  • ​BoXmas (Sky+/Sky Q 355) renames to The Box on all platforms except Sky Glass.

Wednesday 29th 

                 

  • ​MTV XMAS (Sky+/Sky Q - Sky Glass 353)​ renames back to MTV Classic.
  • BoXmas (Sky Glass 355) renames to The Box on Sky Glass platform only.

Friday 31st December

                 

  • ​That's TV Xmas (Satellite 187) renames back to That's TV.
  • Sky Christmas (Sky Glass 303)​ renames to Sky Drama/Sky Drama HD on Sky Glass only.

@Anonymous new channels normally appear around lunchtime on their day of launch.

Thank goodness we can soon leave this Christmas crud and get the Cinema channels back to normality albeit under a plethora of numerous unecessary different titles in the next few months. Oh to return to the days of Cinima 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc.

What a nonsense anything that needs a cinema subscription should retain the name cinema whatever is added to it. 

People don't realise that they need the cinema subscription to watch these and rightly complain.

I know the information is on this board but I don't know how many people come here regularly I certainly don't.
