It would appear that breaking news has taken over instead of the schedule.

A change in the epg would have to be communicated to sky by cnn, but is 11:45pm on a friday night so unlikely

Re: CNN listing on the TV guide

The CNN schedule is the same as ever; it's the EPG that's incorrect, out of sync with what's on by 6 hours. I had NewsNight set to record yesterday, it usually airs at 3AM here, instead CNN Newsroom recorded at 9AM (despite it appearing labeled as NewsNight in my recordings).

At the moment, The Source is currently airing at its usual time (2AM-3AM) but the EPG is showing Isa Soares Tonight which aired at 7PM yesterday evening.

The Source I'm currently watching is listed on the EPG as being on at 8AM despite it actually airing at 2AM. And it's showing this out of sync schedule for the rest of the week (along with multiple incorrect programme lengths, i.e. Isa Soares Tonight airing for 3h30m from 1AM Wednesday), it's like a bad update's been applied somewhere.

Re: CNN listing on the TV guide

I have just sent an email to Sky. Hopefully it wont take forever for this to be fixed. In the meantime I am setting up manual recordings for the shows that affect me. If anyone has any other work arounds please share.

Thanks

Re: CNN listing on the TV guide

I emailed Sky Viewer Relations today who replied:

"Thank you for your email to Sky regarding the CNN channel.

Sky does not own or operate the CNN channel and has no control over their schedule.

However, we can provide feedback to the broadcaster if there is an issue with their content.

I can see that the on screen content does not match their TV guide schedule currently and this has been raised to the broadcaster for them to resolve as soon as possible.

As this channel, nor its content is owned or operated by Sky, we do not have an estimated time for a resolution.

Thanks again for taking the time to bring this to our attention."

Just looking at various sites - current programme is 'Fareed Zakaria GPS'

Digigude and SkyQ are listing 'CNN Newsroom'.

The CNN website is correct if you select 'North America' but is wrong if you select 'Europe' (six hours out).

VirginMedia is actually correct and listing 'Fareed Zakaria GPS' from 3pm to 4pm.

CNN Schedule on Q box

The TV schedule for CNN programmes is completely inaccurate.  This is most frustrating when it comes to making accurate timed recordings.  It seems that all the tiimings are incorrect.  This needs to be corrected.  Can Sky take this on board and fix it?

@JCM3  I have merged your post to this existing thread that is discussing the same issue, a new thread isn't required.

Please also see the replies posted, it's not a Sky issue, Sky don't own or operate CNN.

CNN TV listings for UK viewers

My regular CNN programs are no longer listed at their normal times.
Anderson Cooper used to be on @ 1:00 AM (GMT)  now the Tv listing says it's on at 7:00 AM in UK.

I recorded it and instead on Anderson getting a different general news program, no Anderson.

also Jake Tapper use to be one hour now we only get 30 minutes and then 30 minutes of sports.
Can't find Wolf Blitzer anywhere.
Not happy with all the changes going on.

@UK-viewer

I have moved your post into the thread already discussing CNN issues. Please see the post marked as the answer. Sky don't own or operate CNN so it's not a Sky issue to resolve.
