I would like to find out what would be the best Sky package for my partner, who is an older person who had a stroke recently which has left him with very little short term memory. He cannot remember how to use the tv remote control from day to day and would be much happier if he could use voice commands to change channels and volume settings. We have Sky broadband at present, but no tv package, but had Sky tv in the past. I've looked through some tv packs on the Sjy website, and Sky glass sounds interesting. We still have the disc outside from the Sky + package days. What would people recommend in this situation? Thank you.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreEither Sky Q (using a satellite dish) or Sky Stream (via the internet) or Sky Glass if you need a new tv. Sky Glass benefits from not having to use the remote for simple voice commands - you just say 'hello Sky' then whatever command you want, such as 'BBC1'
For Sky Stream or Glass you need a reasonable Internet speed. Sky recommend. at least 25Mbps

Thank you very much for your help. I think I may try Sky Glass.
