Apple app

Cannot open the Apple app, comes up with could not connect to Apple tv

check internet connection and try again.

all other apps are okay, I have refreshed them switched off box and internet etc

it has been like this since I went to watch something on Friday. I can access it on my other devices

Apple TV won’t connect

Why won't apple app work? I have internet and a subscription but it says no internet connection. What can I do? This has last 3 days now and I have updated and restarted

It is now 3 days and  we still can't connect the Apple TV app to sky q box and it is saying it is an internet issue , which it cannot be since all other apps are working.When can we expect an answer and will Apple give credit for unwatchable days.....

Failed Apple TV app on sky Q

I have reset sky Q box , all apps are working with the exception of Apple TV app. 
internet is fine

yet it says could not connect to Apple tv

People asking for credit is hilarious. 😂

3 days credit would be 90p. I'll put mine toward a packet of polos.

If you need to just airplay Apple TV to your tv and wait for a fix, been doing it since the error.

I'm not sure you should post this as the answer - you should post it as still not fixed surely?  I couldn't watch the second half of my football match last week and now no Apple TV.  I think I am better off with NOW TV

  • I had the same problem as everyone else but I have 2 pucks. Apple TV worked fine in one of them so it was a puck issue. I did a factory reset (from the settings menu) on the broken puck and Apple TV is now working fine. Downside is that you have to go through the set up process again.

This has been atrocious. I don't need Sky. As soon as my Glass contact expires, I am going fully Google TV via HDMI. If you are going to have your own operating system and eco-system, make sure it works. I don't need Sky, they only had me as a customer due to the fact it is a fairly good home entertainment system.
