Soap - The US spoof comedy

  Earlier this year, I posted a thread about the TV series, Police Squad. During the conversation, I mentioned that I wish someone would show Soap, the US sitcom that spoofed US soaps. Well, last night, whilst scrolling through the EPG, I found it on the Rewind channel. I recorded it & it was on S1 E3. Luckily, I have the DVD of S1, so I can watch it from the beginning. I am hoping they are going to screen all 4 seasons ( which are hard to get hold of on DVD ). Anyway, if it's one of those shows they keep on repeating, eventually it will get around to S1 again if you want to see it from the start. It looks like they are showing 5 episodes a week, Monday to Friday.

  I spoke too soon. I had a DVD clearout recently & I think my Soap DVD was part of it. However, if you do want to get those first few episodes from S1, they are available to buy from Amazon Prime at £1.89 per episode, which is quite reasonable. I did notice that AP only has S1, so I'm not sure if that bodes well for how many seasons Rewind will be showing.

@Mr+Ripley Sadly appears that they are only showing Series 1 , the last episode of which aired today.

  @oj01  Yeah, I've been keeping an eye on the schedule lately & I think you're probably right, which is a shame. I don't get why only one season is available in the UK, either on TV or DVD. Part of me is hoping they are taking a rest for a week or so before continuing with S2, but I think it's a long shot.

  Well, that was helpful. So, do I keep those 25 episodes on my planner or not? 🤔 

Being realistic, I don't think Rewind will show them. Only S1 is available on Amazon Prime Video; the same goes for DVD.

  I see on my Schedule list that Soap is on at 1.30 am on February 3rd. Going by the synopsis given, though, it looks like S1 E1. This would confirm my theory that Rewind only has S1.
