the ads keep crashing on my stream puck as well but not on my glass and the ads are very excessive compared to other subscriptions with ads, I'm getting ads at the start and as soon as the opening credits have finished. And to top that every so often after the forth ad break comes on it then skips to the next episode before the previous episode has finished, so I have to go back to the previous episode and fast forward to where I was upto, this has happened on both my stream puck and glass. I've fed this back to paramount+ but I doubt they'll do anything seeing as they haven't fixed a bug I reported over 12 months ago.

I'm not sure why people keep referring to paramount as being free - wake up there is no such thing as a free lunch ! It's a marketing ploy has been always will be and Sky pays for it and passes those costs on to its customers as embedded or hidden charges.
Simple economics folks.
it's really no different to buying a car being told it comes with free seats and mirrors but in this instance its one seat and one mirror.

I couldn't agree more about the biased and quite frankly naive responses by the super user/moderator group. For whatever reason they seem to think that Paramount and Netflix and any other streaming service included in skys packages is actually free - get real we pay for it through the wider subscription. "Free" is a marketing term (removed). even then you still have to pay a rental on top because it's not included in the so called "free" content !
Moderator note: Removed inappropriate remarks.

"At no extra cost" so in my mind it is free 😈

Maybe you will gain some wisdom one day and understand people and yes I am educated and I'm sure if I dig deep enough there will be case law to support those clearly outraged by this move regardless who it was that initiated it

"Free" is a marketing term used to sucker people into taking more products and ultimately spending more money. And yes all the broadcasters are at it because some snot nosed graduate probably thought it would be a great way to rip us all off even more to watch repeats ! even then you still have to pay a rental on top because it's not included in the so called "free" content !
@ESW Paramount Plus for me is free and has been since August 2024 it's due to be renewed August 2025 which I'm responsible to pay and not Sky with regards to the T&Cs
I don't have Sky Cinema either it was offered via Sky VIP

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreOther than the annual April price rise, the cost of a Sky Cinema subscription didn't increase when it started including Paramount Plus. I take that to be both "at no extra cost" and "free".
PS I have neither subscription.

Welcome to the Sky Community Forum! 😊
I understand the frustration caused by the changes to Paramount+, but I’d like to kindly remind everyone to keep our Community Rules in mind, particularly:
Thank you for your understanding!

There have been lots of comments about Paramount Plus and their adverts, but I need to vent! Having the same adverts advertising the same programmes every 15 minutes is driving me nuts! And I pay for Ad Skipping. Definitely won't be renewing Sky, will go back to Now. So much easier to chop and change what I subscribe to. I like Paramount and wish I'd kept up with my paid subscription but don't really want to spend extra just yet. Another unhappy Sky customer!

@JulesAnvilO best vent your anger at paramount then they are the ones that decided to add different subscription tiers and adverts and giving Sky the lowest tier with adverts I would also guess that it would be down to them as to whether the ad skipping from Sky would work or not

I know, it's just I pay my subscription to Sky, but don't worry, I'll vent to Paramount as well 😉

Good luck venting at paramount, I spent all day yesterday trying to report issues with the ads crashing on paramount, at one point they even blamed sky before eventually passing my complaint onto the tech team to investigate.
