Hopefully some are: the Group CEO certainly isn't, and was very much flown in by Comcast after the acquisition. Apparently UK and RoI now reports directly to her.

So can we take you back to the post marked as the answer… Paramount have decided on this change.
Paramount may well have made changes, but to suggest sky has nothing to do with it at all feels very wrong.
Sky are very likely paying something to paramount for this benefit, if not paramount would have just given it to everyone for free.
Sky have decided to put us on the lower tier. Sure they have their reasons.
But I also have mine: My contract is with sky, and what they are providing me has, for me, significantly changed.

At some point ParamountPlus was given to those who didn't have Sky Cinema and was available via Sky VIP for some customers @James376
So what has changed significantly Sky Cinema is £10.00 ParamountPlus now includes ads at no extra cost plus the 2 Vue Cinema tickets each month is still available.

Sky hasn't changed anything with paramount plus.
you accept paramount plus T&C at point of creating your paramount+ account.
The fact paramount+ have updated their subscription packages has no impact in the sky cinema contract. And as someone has said it cover in T&C.

What the people complaining about still don't seem to understand is that Sky was offering Paramount+ as a FREE extra bonus to everyone who took a Cinema subscription, the same as Vue cinema tickets.
Sky are perfectly within their rights to change or withdraw said FREE extra bonus at any time they wish as it a FREE EXTRA bonus.
Are all the people who signed up to Sky Cinema before they offered these FREE EXTRA bonuses complaining that they never had all these FREE EXTRA bonuses when they signed up and so feel hard done by and demand reimbursements for all the years they had Sky Cinema with NO FREE EXTRA bonuses?
We can live in hope they maybe, just maybe, in the future, Sky and Paramount will offer upgraded tiers where you would pay extra like they do with Netflix tiers.
Just my 2p's worth lol

It certainly isn't an exaggeration. On average, every 8 minutes, two adverts are shown without warning, run as if they were the next scene in the show being watched.
It's a horrible, off-putting decision that nullifies Sky's USP of "Paramount at No Extra Cost ".
Unwatchable.

I wouldn't have categorised the offer of giving Paramount+ to users for free as a Unique Selling Point, personally.
And as discussed many times above, it is Paramount+ who have changed their structure.
It is technically still free, yes what you get for free has a new downside which we can agree is horrible, but all T&Cs are still met in full.

I see Amazon have got an offer on Prime for Paramount+ standard at £4.00 per month for 3 months, then reverting to £7.99. Maybe worth a look for those, with Prime, thinking of taking a seperate account. (There's also a year at £70.99).

Personally, I'd recommend just waiting until there's something you actually want to watch on Paramount+ and signing up for a 7 day free Premium ad-free subscription.

Not unless you subscribe to Paramount directly as Sky don't have access to the advert free tier
