Well this is rubbish. Dolby Atmos, Vison and HDR only on the top tier. I'd happily pay the difference between the basic tier and the top tier to upgrade. Resent paying the full subscription cost.

Sky aren't going to give you the top tier free @£10.99 when Sky Cinema is only £10.00
If you require the higher format then you'll have to pay the subscription cost for that tier @turbohat71

I understand that.
what would make a bit of sense would be if you could "top-up" to the top tier. Happy to pay the extra. I just begrudge having to take out a whole new subscription.

@turbohat71 it would make sense but is up to paramount + to offer that to Sky which seems they haven't offered this option to Sky

Fair comment @turbohat71 even if you were paying ParamountPlus directly you would still have to pay the full amount for the next tier even if you have not used the previous month's allocation no credit is given I'm afraid.

It's very strange that we don't have the choice to upgrade and pay the difference to Paramount.
once I finish with Yellowstone (watched all 4 seasons on Netflix but the 5th is on paramount). I'll try and cancel my cinema package.
ridicules that they changed it (be it Sky or paramount, they're both in this together).
I don't watch Sky cinema anymore so I'd rather not see adverts on paramount and get rid of Sky cinema.

So, after speaking to my new mate Igor at Sky Support for any two hours, basically, Sky's recommendation for losing the adverts and getting it to stream correctly is to take out a further subscription directly with Paramount and pay for their Premium package... alongside your Sky Cinema subscription 🤦♂️

...or cancel your Sky Cinema subscription if you've only got it for Paramount+.

Surely a "top up" system will be in the pipeline? There's one in place for Netflix (I pay an add-on for the top tier through Sky).
I only want the ability to stream Star Trek whenever I want without awful adverts!

When I want that for a particular series I look for a cheap copy on Bluray over on Amazon, No ads and I can whatch when I want as often as I want 🙂 I detest paying for streaming services 😞

I've got them all on BluRay / DVD. It's the convenice of being able to stream and watch on an iPad. (Especially in HDR with Strange New Worlds. I'd pay £5 "top up" for the convenice but a whole new subscription is too much.

Yeh , me too : really frustrated by up to three 90 second "promotional material " breaks in an hour's show, And if I understand correctly , P+ state that even if we had the option of "upgrade" to "Showtime" tier, we would STILL suffer these promo breaks. (and they are certainly not 20-30 secs as P+ claim they are, you can see the clock slowly grinding down, and obviously they have blocked fast fwd. ) .

Fair comment @turbohat71 Netflix isn't through Sky Marketplace that's the difference
Paramount Plus is at no extra cost you either had Netflix before it was rolled out onto the Sky platform you either linked your account or continued to pay Netflix directly ParamountPlus doesn't have that option you either subscribed directly to P+ or waited until the Sky Cinema offer
So if ParamountPlus is zero pounds and zero pence how can you top it up as you aren't actually paying for ParamountPlus with ads version
Wouldn't it be cheaper to cancel Sky Cinema and pay the £7.99 per month or £70.99 for 12 months just to get P+ with Sky Cinema.
