landline phone not working

I just received and installed a Sky Broadband Hub on the activation date, but now find that my landline phone is not working (even after plugging into the master socket via the filter as recommended on the Sky help page)

If the Voice light on your new Hub is green or amber, you need to plug the phone into the Hub. It won't work from the wall socket.

I'm assuming your broadband is ok. Try restarting the Hub, by switching off at the plug for 30 seconds or so. Then check the Voice light again.

Thanks. Tried restarting the hub - still no voice light. The broadband connection is fine in use and according to the testing.

I think you'll have to report it to Sky then. If you wish we can ask Sky's messaging team to contact you via an online chat (tomorrow) so that you can do that?

Ok, I've flagged your post to Sky and a Community adviser may be able to help you via private, online messaging tomorrow. Look out for a blue/red chat 'bubble' towards the bottom of the page and an email inviting you to chat online. Replies from Sky may not be instant, so check back from time to time for updates.
