landline dead

i have upgraded to fibre broadband today and i am on ultra fast since the install my phone line is completely dead i have tried plugging phone into hub but that doesnt work either

Is the voice light lit on the hub ?

Hi thanks the problem was the engineer forgot to plug phone line into hub and I wasn't aware that it needed to be

Plus I didn't know about  resetting the hub all now working

Been told by Sky now that we should wait for 24-72 hours once we've plugged the phone into the new router as this is normal after fibre broadband installations.

 

The phone was previously plugged in to the BT landline socket downstairs,  whereas the fibre broadband router is in the spare bedroom upstairs.
