i have no dialing tone. checked everything

there is no dialing tone on lindline. phones are working as intercom facilty works. ringing into line from mobile, just keeps ringing. phone does not ring.

done usual checks unpluged and pluged in again. no difference.

@teggwersHave you changed your broadband package recently or just joined Sky or did this just happen out of the blue?

I have exactly the same issue.  Have also checked my Sky account and no issues reported in area.  Also the calls I attempt to make to and from my phone also show in my sky.com even though not connected.  Need to rule out any technical issues before buying a new phone - then whether to go IP rather than old fashioned.
