going round in circles

my home phone line is dead which is serviced through sky talk     i have gone through all there process and keep returning to contact them   i ring the number andit sends me back through the samecircuit     i cannot access things they are talking about as there is no option to choose these on the screen

Does your phone line lug into the wall socket or the back of your broadband hub ?

Eventually got through to a person.  The sky was down in our area
