Voicemail 1571 issue
We don't have 1571 Voicemail (and don't want to pay £2 a month for it) - but callers are invited to leave messages. Surely it shouldn't do this if my 1571 is not activated? And, of course, we don't know messages are being left and can't pick them up. We really only know of this problem because two people who left messages in the last three days have subsequently sent a text. Goodness knows who else might have left a message.
I have spoken to three different Sky Agents and they can neither understand what the problem is nor rectify it when they do understand.
Not sure where to go from here, but any advice would be appreciated.

I have to ask… does your actual landline device have a built in answerphone?
