VOIP Amber light, stuck on connecting
Hello, I switched my full fibre broadband from BT to SKY on the 12th September, got my phone over as well. (my phone number is now on my SKY account, kept the same one). ONT box on the wall as before.
Didn't initially know that BT's phones wouldn't work so got new phones today, but I cannot get them to function.
Phone is plugged into the UK socket on the back of the Hub, yes I'm in the UK. Sky Hub status page says "Voice: Connecting", the VOICE light is amber. The Phone (Panasonic KX-TGJ422EB) says check phone line. No tone obviously. Broadband works perfectly.
I also tried resetting the Hub as the help instructions suggested, but it didn't alter anything. Any ideas?

It's possible that activation of the Talk service hasn't completed yet, but may be best to report it to Sky. If you wish we can ask the messaging team to contact you here so that you can do so via a private online chat?

OK, I've alerted Sky and a Community adviser may be able to help you via private, online messaging later today. Look out for a blue/red chat 'bubble' towards the bottom of the page. Replies from Sky may not be instant, so check back from time to time for updates. Once the chat is activated it remains open for 48 hours, after which it will automatically close..
