Telephone Line Interference

I have an extremely loud buzzing sound coming through my telephone line, I have attempted all the steps suggested...the noise is still there!

Do you use a wireless phone, or just a dumb handset that plugs straight into the phone socket? 

If it's a wireless phone, try a simple handset first, as a check thay the phone isn't faulty.

Is there any background to this, e.g. new to Sky, recently upgraded etc?
