I'm due to have a Sky engineer to come and install Sky at my new home so I can stay with Sky. However, I've noticed that my current Sky phone cable does not fit the existing Openreach phone socket. Do I need to speak to Sky about this before the engineer arrives, or will the engineer be aware of issues like this and be prepared for such a situation so as to resolve the problem on his visit? I don't want him turning up and saying that he can't install my Sky because of this problem.
