Sky Internet Calls

What exactly does this mean? We have Sky Gigafast and don't use the landline to make calls because we are on the Pay as You Talk.

We use mobiles to make calls.

The default 'Sky Talk Pay As You Talk' doesn't have an additional cost if outbound calls aren't made.  Line Rental is required to have the data bearer circuit which carries the broadband itself.

It means that telephone calls are carried over the Internet, rather than a phone line, Consequently your phone has to be plugged into your broadband Hub, not the wall socket.
