Porting Sky Talk number but keeping Sky FTTP
Hi
I have a client who wants to keep their Sky FTTP broadband, but they want to port their Sky Talk number to a third party VoIP service.
The Sky Talk service does not meet their requirements.
They have been advised that porting thier phone number will cease their Sky FTTP broadband.
Is that correct and if so is there a way round it.

Re: Porting Sky Talk number but keeping Sky FTTP
Thanks for that...
Surely Sky could just allocate a new number to the Sky Talk service and it would continue on new number with the other number being ported under the 30 day Ofcom rule.
I'm sure there are many cases where a new number is issued if , for example, abusive or stalking calls are being received.
