I've just connected my new Sky hub up after taking a new contract out for sky bb. This includes my payg phone line which I must have for incoming calls. The bb is working fine but the phone line is dead, so incoming calls not possible. The phone line is connected to the Sky hub. I was assured by Sky that it could keep my landline number. What can it do? Sky bot didn't understand the issue, surprise surprise, and Chat not available so I've come here for any pointers.

It's normal for the Sky Talk landline to not operate fully for 24+ hours after the broadband activation.
NOTE: I only provide help on the forum boards so Direct Messaging is switched off

It's normal for the Sky Talk landline to not operate fully for 24+ hours after the broadband activation.
NOTE: I only provide help on the forum boards so Direct Messaging is switched off

I was activated yesturday BB is great.
But on dialing 17070 the Sky atomatedvolice said I was on a different number which I'm not happy about as previous Provider assure me they have released mhy long standing number to Sky.
I've sent a Web message to Sky about this and awaiting for response and correction.
When I dialed 17070 I did it with no dial tone, so I suggest you try, after that I have dial tone.

Not sure what you mean? I have no dial tone but dialled 17070 and………nothing, except a very quiet shsssssing noise
