No telephone line

My parents (both disabled) have no telephone line meaning no community alarms (alarms to support living at home - event of fall, heart attack) This is brought in to support them living at home. Sky we not very helpful and said there is an issue and are working on it. I am sooo worried as carers leaving my parents now (there working day over) and I have no idea if all the alarms will start working soon. When I called sky (several times), being transferred around, no one can answer me, wait and see!!!

I have ran tests, they say a wider area fault. Anyone got any advice to rush this.

@Maklavan2  It seems that this issue is in the hands of Openreach who are the network provider that Sky and other ISPs deal with for faults.

If someone has helped give them Like.

If you have found this solution helpful please tick this as the answer.

@Maklavan2 perhaps a cheap PAYG mobile would be a suitable stop gap until Openreach fix the fault?

Hi @Maklavan2

I would advise your parents to register with the Accessibility team as you have mentioned they have a care alarm system in their home.
