No sky talk

Hi. Home land-line will not work even though the broadband is OK . @Sky won't talk to me as this is my mother's account, who is poorly in hospital. My father is 85 and confused as to why his phone won't work , and doesn't know any passwords for @Sky. Can anyone help please? 🙂

@MWoody  Unless you have the account password then no, Skly won't discuss anything account related, no comany will, it's called Data Protection.

 

Or would you be happy for Sky or any other company to allow anyone saying they are your son/daughter etc to access your account?

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

You could try Sky's  Accessibility team, who have wider discretion but they may still be unable to help for the reasons already given.

The advice provided is correct. Sky will only talk to customers and/or their representatives if they can pass the security checks. 

More long term, in their circumstances it may be worth you registering them with the Sky Accessibility Team who may be able to help them in the future. Once registered there are also different methods of communication with this team
