No phone line since 3rd October
Sorry for posting on here but NOW no longer appear to have forums for this type of issue.
My mother's phoneline in the Nottingham NG8 area has been off since the 3rd October. NOW say it's because of an outage being looked at by Openreach. I thought Openreach normally fixed faults within 2 days - it's now nearly a month.
Is there anywhere I can check that what NOW are telling me is true?
Thanks

Re: No phone line since 3rd October
It will depend on what and where the fault is. If Openreach have to dig up the road or pavement they have to get permission from the council and raise a crew to carry out the work.
The below link explains the Ofcom agreed auto compensation scheme which Sky operates for when there is a TOTAL loss of Sky Broadband or Sky Talk.
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/auto-compensation
If you have a total loss of service and it isn’t fixed after two full WORKING days from when you notify Sky of the fault, you will become eligible for it. It’s applied 30 days after the fault has been repaired and will come in the form of a credit appearing on your Sky account (from 01/04/24 the rates are £9.76 per day). I don't know if a Now subscription is the same.

Re: No phone line since 3rd October
@DonnySky it's 2 days or so for Openreach to initially investigate. It can take longer depending in the nature of the fault, as @Daniel0210 posted.

Does anybody know of an Open reach website where you can view the status of outages?
