New Fibre but no Phone line and old non-fibre still live after 4 days

I ordered Fibre broadband and talk switching from Vodafone. The engineer came last Saturday 20th May to install Fibre and connect Hub, advised that may take until midnight on Saturday for phone to switch but this has not happened. I have no voice light on the hub but the old copper Vodafone landline is still working along with old Vodafone Broadband which is also still working.

To confirm, you've had a new fibre optic cable installed for Sky Ultrafast broadband and the broadband is working ok? What was your activation date?

It was activated 20th May.

The Broadband was activated on 20th May and working great however the voice light is not active on the hub. My old Vodaphone router is still connected to the internet and my phone which is currently connectedto the old copper wire line is also still active. I suspect Sky have not made the transition correctly?

Thanks for that. I'm still a bit confused however, by the above. If your Vodafone router is still connected, how is your Sky Hub also connected with broadband working? They can't both be providing your broadband?

@D+Sheton  So was your old service over the copper line and Sky over a new fibre connection?

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Hi, yes i have a new fibre line installed with the new sky broadband but also ordered sky talk so expected phone and broadband to switch keeping my old number. The old vodafone is connected to copper wires which is also still providing broadband and phone.
