Mobile to landline,

Some mobiles on contract or PAYG with Vodafone cannot connect to my new Sky landline. Why?

@TonyonSky some sort of network issue I'd guess. Have you reported it to Sky?

Hi Mark,

 

Thanks for getting in touch.

 

I've tried to get in touch with Sky, but can't geet past that stupid auto-help". I did have a text from Sky yesterday saying: -

 

"Hi, it's Sky. We've looked into your issue, and it looks like it's now fixed. Need more help? Go to sky.com/help. Noreply."

 

I did, and it was no help whatsoever.

 

Sky ought to be grateful that I switched my broadband to them, not get vindictive with my previous supplier.

@TonyonSky if you wish we can ask Sky's messaging team to contact you here so that you can refer it back to them via a private online chat?

@TonyonSky it doesn't work quite like that.

 

Sky will invite you to an online chat that remains open for 48 hours. You can talk to Sky as and when you wish during the 48 hours. Replies from Sky are unlikely to be instant.

 

The chat will end either when a natural conclusion has been reached, or automatically at the end of 48 hours whether or not a conclusion has been reached. 

 

It's designed to be flexible so that you can go about your day without waiting online for a response from Sky.

 

If you'd like to go ahead, just let us know here.

I’ve escalated your post to Sky and their Community Messaging Team should make contact with you later today. 

Look out for a post on this thread from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread periodically.
